MessAGE FROM AGORA OF ZUBA
Welcome to the official website of
Zuba, an ancient town in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital
Territory (FCT) Abuja, Nigeria. As the Agora of Zuba, it is my honour to
introduce you to our vibrant and diverse community.
Zuba, situated on the border of Abuja's central city, shares its
boundary with Madalla, a suburb in Suleja Local Government of Niger State. Our
town is not only a gateway to Abuja but also a crucial junction on the primary
highways connecting Kaduna-Kano and Kogi Stae to major cities in southern
Nigeria. This strategic location has made Zuba a bustling commercial and
transit hub.
Our rich cultural heritage is deeply
rooted in the Koro language, the native tongue of the Zuba people. However, due
to our town's dynamic commercial environment, we proudly host a diverse
population that includes Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Igala, Ebira, Nupe, and many
other tribes. This cultural mosaic enriches our community, fostering unity and
mutual respect among all residents.
This website is designed to serve as
a comprehensive resource for both residents and visitors. Here, you will find
information about our town's history, culture, and significant landmarks, as
well as updates on community events and initiatives. We aim to provide an
accessible platform that showcases the unique qualities of Zuba and promotes
engagement and collaboration within our community.
Thank you for visiting our official
website. We hope it will serve as a valuable tool for everyone and help
strengthen the bonds within our diverse and vibrant town.

The life, traditions, heritage, cultures and history of the Koro Zuba had revolved around Zuma rock before the 20th century.
